Il Governo ottiene la fiducia al Senato e alla Camera. Nella prima parte della mattinata di oggi (14 dicembre) il voto è stato espresso al Senato, dove l'esecutivo ha ottenuto la fiducia con 162 voti a favore a fronte dei 135 contrari, mentre 11 sono stati gli astenuti. Alla Camera invece sono stati solo 3 i voti, con i quali è stato possibile alla maggioranza bocciare le mozioni di sfiducia nei confronti del governo, infatti, sono stati espressi 314 voti contrari e 311 favorevoli, solo due gli astenuti.
Ma in realtà, ha commentato il Segretario Generale della CGIL, Susanna Camusso “l'esecutivo Berlusconi non ha più una maggioranza politica” and therefore, "if there are no requirements to have a government of the country is better off going to the polls."

Compared with 314 votes that the government has obtained in the House, Camusso concludes by noting that "if members are 630, non c'è una maggioranza alla Camera”, come era evidente anche, ha affermato la numero uno di corso d'Italia, “dall'indecoroso spettacolo della compravendita dei voti per la necessità del premier di avere la fiducia”.
